About the event
Prebbleton - Its Sport, Recreation and Leisure over Sixteen Decades
This display traces the history of the numerous sporting and leisure groups enjoyed by the residents
of Prebbleton since the beginning of the township in 1862.
Some of these groups survive today, others do not, but all provide a picture of life in this early settlement.
Where possible we will use items and photographs from our archives to illustrate these activities and the people involved in making life enjoyable for those living here.
The display, which is a free event, will be held in the Prebbleton Hall in Springs Road opposite
